Hot-work steels are alloyed tool steels that have been specially developed for use at high temperatures (above 200 °C, often up to 600 °C). They are characterized by high heat resistance, hot toughness, and wear resistance. These steels are typically used for tools in the forging, die casting, and extrusion industries.
We stock the most commonly used hot work steels in round and flat dimensions, from small rolled formats to large forging dimensions.
For the most demanding material requirements, we also offer many materials in ESR (electro-slag remelted) quality.
